Clowes began her career as an Adjustment Counselor in public schools where she managed a large caseload of students with multiple & chronic issues, and supported student success by collaborating with school staff, outside referrals, and parents.
Erika completed undergraduate studies at Connecticut College before receiving a M. Her most rewarding position allowed her to develop and run a social-emotional classroom to meet the needs of high school-aged special education students so they could remain in the public school setting.
He served 2 combat tours: one in Afghanistan in ’04 and Iraq in ’05. Since leaving the Marines, he returned to college while working at South Shore Hospital and graduated with a degree in Psychology & Sociology from UMass Boston in 2013.
